TEVA has 43,000 employees around the world and has a commercial presence in 60 markets. In Spain, our company has 850 employees and supports more than 5,000 indirect jobs.

Our portfolio is made up of generic drugs, we are world leaders; biosimilars; biological and innovative drugs (innovation in Central Nervous System, respiratory and intent) and OTC (self-care products and “pharmaceutical advice”.

We have a strong operational base and global structure with 58 manufacturing plants around the world, 27 of them in Europe, producing 120 billion doses of drugs annually. We also have 10 distribution centers around the world, 5 of them in Europe.

We do an important part of our global production in Zaragoza, where we have our production plant and logistics center. 556 workers work here, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Here we manufacture 7,100 million doses annually, 1,800 presentations. Our Zaragoza factory and logistics center covers 44,000 square meters and here we produce 40% of the medicines that TEVA supplies in Spain.

We are a transparent company with ethical and responsible practices, placing the patient at the center of everything we do, with a firm commitment to society and the environment.
At our Zaragoza plant we carry out a Zero Dumping strategy, since we recycle 100% of paper, cardboard, wood, plastic and non-hazardous waste metal materials.
Additionally, Teva promotes health and increases access to treatment for patients, while promoting a culture of compliance, ethics and transparency. Teva supports communities in Spain and their patients and caregivers through monetary and product donations, employee volunteering, programs and associations.

We have been celebrating the Humanizing Healthcare Awards for 6 years, an initiative focused on the patient in Spain. Each year, the program finances 11 projects developed in Spanish hospitals or health centers that have improved the quality of life of patients and their families. Founded six years ago, Humanizing Healthcare has enabled Teva to donate 198,000 to 66 projects.
