Novaltia Sociedad Cooperativa is a full-range drug and parapharmacy product distribution cooperative, with 100% pharmaceutical capital, which is among the main pharmaceutical distributors in Spain. With 5 fully functioning logistics centers totaling more than 35,000 m2 -Zaragoza, Zarátamo, Lezama-Zamudio, Vitoria and Calatayud-, its 160 workers serve more than 1,000 pharmaceutical partners thanks to the strong regional implantation; more than 74% in Aragon and around 30% in Bizkaia and Álava.

Activity
As an essential link in health care, Novaltia delivers all medicines and pharmaceutical products to all its partner pharmacies on a daily basis, regardless of their size and location, guaranteeing universal access to health for citizens.


An automatic system is in charge of managing orders, guaranteeing the perfect condition and proper conservation of all products. Up to five different types of robots participate in a streamlined and optimized pharmacist-supervised procedure, from origin in the laboratory to dispensing in the pharmacy.

The work is completed with a fleet of transport vehicles that daily travel 14,000 km on 70 delivery routes.

All this means that Novaltia is considered a model company in the sector, both due to its advanced technology and its economic-financial structure.

A multidisciplinary team made up of pharmacists, chemists, engineers, economists and lawyers, works on the development and implementation of new services, applying R&D in all corporate management processes.

The effectiveness of the system allows a greater closeness with the partners that is reflected in the large number of services provided, through conferences,
workshops and training courses, which contribute to the continuous recycling of professionals in the sector.

We work in defense of the current pharmacy model and, together with other companies in northern Spain that share this vision, we are part of the Unnefar Group. With a 12% joint market share, 65% in its areas of influence, Unnefar occupies the 3rd position in the national ranking of the pharmaceutical distribution sector. The companies integrated in the group, all market leaders in their areas of operation, serve more than 4,000 associated pharmacies to which we provide services under the common brand Cruzfarma, providing logistics and service coverage in 11 autonomous communities.

All our warehouses have the certifications of our Integrated Management System in accordance with the international standards UNE EN ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management); UNE EN ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001: 2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management), through AENOR.
We are the first pharmaceutical distribution company certified in the three standards, which makes us a benchmark in the sector in terms of process management, adequate environmental performance and the promotion of safe and healthy work spaces.
