San Jorge University

San Jorge University Foundation (hereinafter FUSJ) is a non-profit organization dedicated to training and research. Its mission is to serve society by creating and transmitting knowledge and contributing to the formation of integrity and good professionals. The university is composed by different knowledge areas (degrees, master and doctorate):

• Faculty of Health Sciences (pharmacy, nursing, physiotherapy and sport sciences)
• Faculty of Communication Sciences (Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, Translation & Intercultural Communication, Visual Communication, Marketing)
• Polytechnic School (Computer Sciences)
• Architecture School
• School of Governance and Leadership: Administration and Business Management.

Moreover there are three integrated research institutes:

• Aragon’s Institute of Environment and Sustainability
• Institute of Humanism & Society
• Institute of Modern Languages

The university is part of a group of organizations (San Valero Foundation Group) dedicated exclusively to training at different levels (secondary, professional training, vocational training, high education) and different modalities. The organizations of the group are:

• San Valero Foundation, (an entity with more than 50 years dedicated to educational activities). It is focus on vocational training, secondary school and professional training.
• SEAS: it is focus on e-learning. Also it has participated in Leonardo projects, supporting all pilot actions related to e-learning.
• CPA Saldui: This entity is focus on Audio-visual training at different levels (professional training, vocational training) and offers different services.
• FUNDOSVA: a Foundation located in Dominican Republic focus on education of people with few resources.

The University has more than 1800 students, and the human resources are differenced in two areas:

• Technical and administrative resources: there are 89 people.
• Researchers and Teachers: there are 95 people full time and more than 140 part-time (degrees, master, doctorate, summer courses)
