AITIIP Technology Centre

AITIIP Technology Centre was born in late 1995 as an entity focused on Innovation and Technology, becoming a private and nonprofit organisation on June 6, 2003. It is currently registered as a statewide technology centre in the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness registry.

This legal form is what allows us to reinvest our revenues to improve and keep our activities, technology services and research lines with the following objectives:

• Promoting activities that contribute to the development of a new business culture and enhancing competitiveness of enterprises.
• Developing activities that promote a technological improvement of industry and in particular of Aragon companies.
• Encouraging business initiatives designed to develop research, quality and new technologies to improve the environment in which they occur.
• Supporting the development, innovation, technology and expertise to contribute to the improvement of training and promote entrepreneurial initiatives.
• Carrying out high quality research in the operation areas of the technology center.

Research Areas

• COMPOSITES & NANOTECHNOLOGY (nanomaterials (CNT – nanotubes and graphene mainly), thermoplastics+themostable materials and composites in general) – for all sectors (transport-aeronautics-automotive, renewable energies, civil infrastructures…)
• MANUFACTURING PROCESSES: Mechatronics and robotics – Automated processes (*Thermoset: RTM, infusion, oven mould… *Thermoplastic: injection, extrusion, compounding, blowing extrusion * Additive manufacturing (metals and plastics))
• PLASTIC PACKAGING for all sectors and technologies (from the concept to the serie – industrial processes)
